This is the latest iteration in the Badlands series. The Klim Badlands Pro is a very tough piece of equipment, for tough riders taking their tough bikes through tough terrain in tough weather conditions. Notice how we said tough five times? That’s because we want to emphasize what you’re getting with the Badlands Pro. This jacket is built to last, protect and keep you dry wherever you go. You will find patches of super hard wearing and tear resistant Superfabric on all the critical places. The main shell consists of different materials like SPL200, FPL 400 and Karbonite ripstop panels. Durability is key here! On the inside the Badlands Pro is equipped with the best protection available: all around you will find D3O Aero Pro CE Level 2 protectors. On the inside you will also find an integrated back protector with a kidney belt style loop around the stomach. This helps taking off the load of the jacket, making your ride more comfortable.

Speaking of comfort; the Gore-Tex Pro membrane is waterproof, breathable and laminated to the jacket. These properties are guaranteed for life time. All the ventilation zippers on the Badlands Pro allow for fresh air to pass into and out of the jacket and because of the taped seams around those zippers, they will not nullify the performance of the Gore-Tex Pro membrane. The interior mesh lining allows for wearing comfort and sweat to wick and evaporate. Like with other Klim jackets, the Badlands Pro does not have an integrated thermal liner. Klim likes to work with layers and leaves it up to the rider which layers are needed. So if you want to stretch the comfort levels of the Badlands Pro to winter season, you will need to wear base and mid layers underneath this jacket.
